Teaching Assistant — Advanced Machine Learning
BSAN 745
This graduate-level course focuses on machine learning for
nontraditional data, particularly text, networks, and images.
Topics include web scraping, text processing, sentiment analysis,
topic modeling, network analysis, and shallow and deep learning,
with applications implemented primarily in Python or R.
Teaching Assistant — Data Mining and Predictive Analytics

This course covers predictive modeling and data-mining methods
for business applications. Topics include feature selection,
resampling, time-series modeling, tree-based methods, neural
networks, text analytics, deep learning, and large language
models, with an emphasis on model evaluation, interpretation,
and practical business applications.

students without a calculus background. Topics include descriptive
statistics, graphical and numerical data analysis, sampling and
experimental design, probability, random variables, the normal
distribution, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, and
introductory hypothesis testing.

This second course in introductory statistics focuses on
statistical inference. Topics include one- and two-sample
hypothesis tests for means and proportions, chi-squared tests,
linear regression, analysis of variance, and nonparametric
rank-based methods, with emphasis on selecting appropriate
statistical procedures and interpreting results.
